Simulation of Fluidization Quality for Various Reduced−Gas Composition and Agitation Speed Circumstances in a Gas-Solid Fluidized Bed with an Inclined Agitator

Blast furnace ironmaking is one of the most serious carbon dioxide emission processes. To reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions, fluidized bed technology with hydrogen as a reducing agent has attracted more attention. An inclined agitator was added to reactor address sticking issue in conventional process. In this research, numerical simulation used examine impacts gas composition agitation speed on gas-solid fluidization quality cold iron ore powder an agitator. The results indicate that effect better when volume ratios H2 CO N2 are 1:1. Under intensive shear action agitator, standard deviation pressure drop constantly decreases increase speed, decreasing range smaller smaller. state particles stabilized reached 160 rpm.
